Fix a bug with the whitelist, not let anyone join to server! Spigot did so: UUID is created only after entering the player join, with the given nickname to the server. UUID is not correctly generated even on Minecraft Server and none of this does anything :(

I do know for a fact these users are only logging in from the same IP (as in the same IP at their respective homes.Not that they are both at the same home). I will investigate to see if it happens more and what may be causing it. It's very possible internet issues were happening that night too to cause it.

From what they have told me, they would get a message related to lagging out, but they couldn't log back in because they were already there. If they attempted to relog, they the "new" login would get kicked but the "older" one would still be there for a while before eventually disconnecting or until I issue /stop and reboot the software.

I find it odd that even the console couldn't get these "players" to leave via /kick or /ban.

@ Mayor_Mike -- if you have any more information or steps to reproduce that I'd love to research further. Like for example, do you know if they had logged in from another location and that is what triggered it?

I have an issue where users leave the game client side, but the server still thinks they are online. These users cannot be kicked. (The server says they are kicked, but are still online).
After a few minutes they logout and things are normal.

plr.spectateEntity(null);
Does it remove the spectated Entity, or does it error?
